Working with a single article

Explanations of the single article view.

In the article field, there is information such as the date and time of publication, tags, article title, and a lead or summary. At the bottom of the field, you can find a 'mention bar' which shows how many times and at which instances within the clip/article text the keyword was mentioned.

Metadata

Every single articles has a metadata section on the left. There you can find:

  • Name - name of the source
  • Medium - from what type of media the article comes from: online, print, broadcast or social media
  • Source Category - a sub-media type, for example tv for broadcast or Instagram for social media
  • Author - if available
  • Pg(s) - for print articles, information on which page number(s) did the article appear
  • Reach - the potential reach of the article (what is reach?)
  • Media Cost - (how is media cost calculated?)
  • Country - the Country of the source
  • Language - the language of the article
  • Sentiment - of the article (what is sentiment?)
  • Engagement - for social media, the number of retweets/shares/likes

Article Action Buttons

On the right side of the article you can find actions buttons. From top to down:

  • Select - clicking on it will add article to the current clipbook
  • View - click to see the entire article/clip
  • Translate - to translate into english
  • Tag - clicking on it brings up Tagging window where you add tags to the article and create or manage tags. More about tags.
  • Copy link - copies the link to the article to devices clipboard
  • Edit - allows to edit the article. More about article editing.
  • Share - click to share an article via email. More about article sharing.
